This event is fun for the whole family but has a bigger mission.

The Heart of the Canyons church is hosting a Fall fair and raising funds and donations for a local charity.

The free event will feature activities for the whole family including inflatable jumpers and slides, arts and crafts, games, food, magic, and music.

The church will take food and monetary donations from guests for Help the Children, a nonprofit food pantry and division of Children’s Network International.

“This is a great way for families in Santa Clarita to do something together,” said Pastor Paul Luna Heart of the Canyons Children’s minister. “We emphasize how you can still maintain wholesome family values while keeping up with the times”

The magic at the fair will be performed by magician Lincoln Bond.

The fair will be held from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, September 27.

Heart of the Canyons church meets on the La Mesa Junior High campus at 26623 May Way, Canyon Country.
