Hit And Run Driver Hospitalizes Pedestrian

A hit-and-run driver struck a pedestrian in Canyon Country on Friday morning.

About 9:20 a.m. Friday, emergency responders received reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Foxlane Drive and Nadal Street in Canyon County, according to Esteban Benitez, spokesperson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“We do have one transport,” Benitez said.

The condition of the person struck is unknown as of 10 a.m. Friday.

Initial reports described the suspect vehicle as a grey van.
