A motorcycle crash in Santa Clarita sent one person to the hospital Friday, officials said. 

Around 4:40 p.m. Friday, emergency responders received reports of a traffic collision on the 11000 block of Soledad Canyon Road just north of the Santa Clara River in Canyon Country, according to Miguel Ornelas, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. 

“We received reports of a motorcycle down,” Ornelas said. “One person was transported to a local hospital.”

The condition of the patient is unknown as of Friday afternoon, according to Fire officials.
