One Dead After Fatal Motorcycle Crash In Agua Dulce

A motorcycle driver was killed Sunday morning following a crash on the 14 Freeway in Agua Dulce.

Around 10:15 A.M., first responders received reports of a single motorcycle crash on the southbound 14 Freeway at Escondido Canyon Road in Agua Dulce, according to Carlos Burgos-Lopez, spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Newhall Area Office.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead on arrival by first responders, and the passenger was transported to the hospital, said Lopez.

The cause of the crash is still unknown.

The identity of the person who died has not been identified pending the next of kin.

About Alexandra Ines

Born and raised in the Santa Clarita Valley, Alexandra Ines has lived there since she was six months old. Her love for news and filmmaking started when she was young but was elevated with education. As a first step, she was accepted for the morning broadcast show, La Mesa Live, at La Mesa Junior High School. After her 2 years of exceptional work in the program, Alexandra was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in Video Production. She was quickly accepted into the prestigious Golden Valley Television (GVTV) at Golden Valley High School. In four years, Alexandra mastered numerous live broadcast skills, including crafting interviews and news segments. Most notably, she produced, filmed, and edited her very own baking show having a total of 12 episodes under her belt. In her junior year, she was given the mantle of the program’s producer, serving as a creative and informed leader for her team. Alexandra and a group of her peers created PSA videos on distracted driving and DUI awareness which lead to gaining 5 awards over 2 videos for the Streets Art SAFE Competition. Alexandra received her associate’s degree in filmmaking at College of the Canyons and is currently studying at California State University, Northridge as a film major with an emphasis in film editing. In Alexandra's role at KHTS, she edits news videos to serve as visual media for viewers. Alexandra spends her free time collecting and listening to her vinyl records and continues to bake outside of her baking show. She also enjoys travelling either by herself or with friends and occasionally going to live concerts.
