One pedestrian was sent to the hospital Sunday night after a crash in Newhall, officials said.

Reports were received just before 10:45 p.m. of a traffic collision in Newhall involving a pedestrian on Lyons Avenue near Newhall Avenue.

“We got the call at about 10:38 and were on scene at 10:41 of a vehicle versus pedestrian,” said Supervisor Pittman with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

One patient was taken to a nearby hospital according to Supervisor Choi.

No other injuries were reported in relation to the crash as of 11 p.m., according to Choi.
