One Person ‘Safely Extricated’ From Valencia Rollover Crash

One person had been “safely extricated” from a vehicle on its side in a two-vehicle Santa Clarita crash that temporarily slowed traffic Wednesday morning.

Around 6:28 a.m. Wednesday, emergency responders received reports of a traffic collision with persons trapped at the intersection of Newhall Ranch Road and Vanderbilt Way in Valencia, according to Estevan Esteban Benites, spokesperson with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“We were on scene at 6:34 a.m. to a report of a traffic collision with persons trapped,” Benites said. “One person had been safely extricated from the vehicle.”

No parties from either vehicle had been transported to the hospital, according to Fire officials.

The crash temporarily slowed Newhall Ranch Road traffic for an unknown duration Wednesday morning.
