One person was transported to the hospital after a motorcycle crash occurred on the 14 Freeway in Newhall Friday evening.

At around 6:20 p.m. Friday, first responders received reports of a crash involving motorcycles on the northbound 14 Freeway south of Newhall Avenue, according to Dispatch Supervisor Stafford with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“We did get a call about a motorcycle down at around 6:23,” Stafford said. “We did transport one patient to the hospital.”

According to initial reports heard over radio traffic, the collision involved two motorcycles crashing into one another. However, Stafford was unable to confirm those reports.
