A Santa Clarita man killed in a crash on Sand Canyon Road earlier this month has been identified.
Pedro Ramirez, 27, of Newhall, was killed in a Santa Clarita crash on Sept. 12, said Sarah Ardalani, spokesperson with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:50 p.m. on the 26000 block of Sand Canyon Road on Sept. 12, according to Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The vehicle Ramirez was in had collided with a block wall, and he was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, Arriaga said.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor, according to officials.
No other fatalities were reported as a result of the crash.

Instead of being typical Santa Clarita racist how about sending condolences and prayers for his children and family. Before judging a book by its cover know the details. Maybe realize when the accident happen or the details between the lines. Instead of having sympathy for the victim and his family, some kind of compassion so maybe his child doesn’t have to see such negative comments.
