Two patients were hospitalized after a Castaic crash on the southbound I-5 Freeway late Tuesday afternoon, causing traffic in the area to be delayed, officials said.
A traffic collision was reported to the California Highway Patrol around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on the southbound 5 Freeway near Hasley Canyon Road, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Stephan Brandt.
“The number one lane is blocked due to a vehicle colliding with the center divider,” Brandt said. “There is still CHP out there investigating.”

Two ambulances were ordered by the Los Angeles County Fire Department following the crash. The injuries were said to be non-life-threatening, according to Supervisor Peters.
