Just before 9:45 a.m. Monday, officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department received reports of an expanded traffic collision near the intersection of The Old Road and Pico Canyon Road, according to Marvin Lim with the department.

“One vehicle was well-involved,” Lim said.

At least two individuals, believed to be minors, were injured as a result of the crash, according to officials at the scene.

At least one of those individuals was transported to a nearby hospital around 10 a.m., according to Lim. A second person was also seen being taken to a medical facility in an ambulance, according to a KHTS reporter at the scene.

Three ambulances were requested to the scene of the crash, according to Fire officials.

The incident also caused the traffic light at the intersection of The Old Road and Pico Canyon Road to go out, further causing traffic delays in the area.

Units were still at the scene as of 10:15 a.m.

  1. Maybe they were late for school. Maybe they overslept. Hope they are ok.
