“We get a lot of people from the southland,” said John Sampson of Ruby Springs Lodge Montana. “(We’re) having a really prosperous season… We encourage you to give us a call.”

Sampson noted the dry fly fishing is “as good as it gets” at the moment, with the weather in the mid 70s and a light breeze in the air.

An all-inclusive, high-end fly fishing lodge in Montana, Ruby Springs Lodge prides itself on being able to accommodate both beginners and expert fly fishers.

“We can accommodate anybody, from experience levels who have been all over the world fly fishing to people who have literally never seen a fly fishing rod before,” Sampson said. “All you need to do is show up. We’ll give you the instruction, the gear, the patient guides.”

In addition to a private stretch of the Ruby River where the lodge’s cabins are set, lodge guests also have the opportunity to float the nearby Big Hole, Beaverhead, Madison and Jefferson Rivers, not to mention what Sampson called “endless miles” of private small trout streams.

Then at the end of the day, staff can put a cold drink in your hand and provide a fine dining experience in one of the lodge’s riverside dining rooms, Sampson added.

“It’s really quite the all-encompassing, high-end Montana Rocky Mountain West fly fishing package,” he said. “So get on up here, enjoy Ruby Springs Lodge. We’d love to have everybody.”
