A minor was airlifted to a local hospital after suffering from a medical emergency Tuesday night in Santa Clarita, officials said.

The call was reported on Marina Point Lane at 7:25 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“When units arrived on scene, they requested a helicopter to transport the patient,” Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Gustavo Medina said.
The patient was transported by ambulance to Bridgeport Park where the helicopter was waiting to transport the child to the hospital.

Must have been serious to transport the kid via ambulance to a waiting helicopter in the park instead of to the hospital directly. I hope the kid was ok. Any updates?
