Michael Moffett, the previous owner, has sold the Old Road Harley-Davidson to Oliver Shokouh and Robert Patrick, who are now rebranding as Santa Clarita Harley-Davidson, according to a Market Business Insider news release.

Shokouh founded the locally owned and family-operated Glendale Harley-Davidson dealership in 1976.

He has always been a Harley-Davidson enthusiast, stating that the camaraderie within the Harley-Davidson community could “enrich one’s life,” the news release said.

Staying true to this belief, Shokouh founded the annual Love Ride in 1981 — an annual one-day motorcycle fundraiser that started at the Glendale Harley-Davidson dealership and ended at Castaic Lake — to support local and national causes.

In its 35 years, the Love Ride raised more than $25 million before its run came to an end in 2015.

Shokouh is considering implementing the Love Ride once again; however, the dates have not been released.

Patrick, an actor best known for his role as T-1000 in “Terminator 2” and now appearing in the TV series “Scorpion,” purchased his first motorcycle from Shokouh at the Glendale location. It was always a dream of Patrick’s to one day own a Harley-Davidson dealership, the news release said.

“When Shokouh heard of the opportunity to purchase Old Road Harley-Davidson through George Chaconas of Performance Brokerage Services, Shokouh thought of his friend Patrick,” the news release said.

The two closed on their purchase of the Old Road Harley-Davidson in August 2018.

Shokouh and Patrick have already implemented upgrades, including a new concept look for the front desk reception area, a large motor clothing and gear section and a “Terminator 2” arcade, the news release said.

The newly named Santa Clarita Harley-Davidson is also set to offer the Pan America, Harley-Davidson’s first adventure touring motorcycle, which is set to become available in late 2019.

Santa Clarita Harley-Davidson was also selected as one of 150 dealerships to offer the LiveWire, the first electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle, which is expected to be available in the spring of 2019.

With electric motorcycles coming to Santa Clarita, Shokouh plans to install a charging station in the dealership’s parking lot.

The dealership is located at 21130 Centre Pointe Parkway in Santa Clarita.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
