A man convicted of raping his daughter was sentenced to 143 years in state prison Monday, officials said.

A jury found Daniel Wisehart, 47 , of Canyon Country, guilty March 12 on all 30 charges.
Wisehart was accused of one count of lewd acts upon a child and 29 counts of rape against the victim, on charges that he repeatedly raped his daughter over a one-year period five years ago, according to a criminal complaint.
The victim’s mother found out about the allegations in May, and Wisehart was arrested, according to testimony presented in court.
The case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Emily Cole of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
The case was investigated by the Special Victims Bureau of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Wisehart was arrested May 15 at 11:50 a.m., according to Sheriff’s Department arrest records. He’s been in custody since his arrest.
The crimes occurred between June 1, 2009, and June 30, 2010, officials said.
