Ellorah Warner, of Newhall, died of blunt force trauma, according to the results of a medical examiner’s investigation.

Warner was only 19 days old when her dead body was found in the cab of a truck.

Ellorah Warner was discovered inside the cab of a parked truck in the 23600 block of Newhall Avenue around 7 a.m. Jan. 24, and pronounced dead at the scene, according to Lt. Holly Francisco, the homicide detective leading the investigation.

Homicide detectives said the baby’s father, Matthew Warner, led sheriff’s officials to where the body was found.

The results of the autopsy were pending a toxicology report, but the report didn’t indicate anything that would have caused the child’s death, according to Lt. Fred Corral of the Coroner’s Office.

A criminal complaint against Matthew Brendan Warner, 30, of Newhall, charges him with the murder of Ellorah Warner, his 19-day-old baby girl, as well as assault on a child causing death, torture, oral copulation or sexual penetration of a child under 10, aggravated sexual assault.

  1. I hope this lowest form of life [he] is receiving the type of treatment (disgusting sick behavior) he practiced on the outside (ie: what he did to that beautiful baby) in there. to the point where he is crippled with pain and agony.

  2. I cannot believe how much of a disgusting pighe is. I hope he is punished inside for what he did to his daughter.

  3. More than likely he is in protective custody. Too bad. Too bad this poor baby girl was not protected against her father.

  4. This is so very sad. How can a father of a perfectly healthy and beautiful baby girl act like that? This little innocent girl did not deserve this kind of life.
I hope the man will be castrated before they let him out so he can no longer produce babies or rape anyone. That is the least they can do after what he did.

    • Interesting choice of words-so sickly, disabled, and ugly babies DO deserve this? Perhaps you meant they’re just less deserving of love and freedom from abuse, sexual assault,or murder?

      • Kimberly, I am sure that that is coming from somewhere, but I can’t imagine where. There are no ugly babies, and though I know I’m making an assumption, I’m pretty sure that’s no what she meant. She was just horrified and venting.

  5. Where was the mother during all this

    • What does that have to do with it? Oh how dare a mother ever be anywhere else but with her child right? It’s partly her fault too right? She was at work, but I don’t see why that matters, if she was out socialising that still doesn’t mean she did wrong. Your just a sexist bitch. I’m sick of mothers being seen as the ones that are always responsible for everything, and not fathers.
