Freedom’s Way Baptist Church has planned quite a celebration over the 4 th of July weekend. In the early evening of Saturday July 2, Pastor Jerry Cook has scheduled a Patriotic Concert. This event will have patriotic music honoring the United States while Bible believing Christians and guests enjoy the music and fellowship.

Sunday morning, Pastor Jerry Cook will lead the “Red, White, and Blue” service. The congregation will enjoy an inspiring message with numerous references and Scripture readings from the King James Bible. Following the service, the congregation will enjoy a potluck meal.

The following day, Freedom’s Way Baptist Church will be participating in the Santa Clarita 4 th of July parade with a decorated float and Bible Believing marchers. It is refreshing to have a church in Santa Clarita that loves the United States of America
and is not afraid of nationalism nor being patriotic. Pastor Jerry Cook wrote that he wanted to incorporate his love of country with his love of God and that is how Freedom’s Way Baptist Church got its name.

On Freedom’s Way Baptist Church’s website under their Statement of Faith regarding the civil government, it reads that God ordained and created all authority consisting of three basic institutions: the home, the church, and the government. These authorities are answerable to God and governed by His Word. The home, the church, and the government are equal and sovereign in their respective Biblically assigned spheres of responsibility under God.

One of the purposes of the Church is to instruct the body of Christ in biblical truth and principles. Freedom’s Way Baptist Church uses the King James Bible as its source of Truth and Pastor Jerry Cook addresses the home, the church, and the government in
his messages. It is fulfilling to have a church that is not afraid to evaluate our country’s policies and celebrate its history while integrating Scriptural references to teach its congregation the connection and interactions of all three basic authorities under God.

Visiting any of the scheduled events at Freedom’s Way Baptist Church would be a great addition to your regular celebration of this country’s Independence Day.
