AC Maintenance In Santa Clarita: Keep Your Home Cool With Conejo Services

When summer temperatures climb into the triple digits, homeowners throughout Santa Clarita depend on their air conditioning systems to stay comfortable.

The best way to avoid unexpected breakdowns and expensive repairs is with regular AC maintenance. At Conejo Services, they help homeowners throughout Santa Clarita keep their cooling systems running efficiently, reliably, and ready for the hottest days of the year.

Why Regular AC Maintenance Matters

Your air conditioner works hard during Southern California’s long, hot summers. Over time, dust, dirt, and normal wear can reduce efficiency and place unnecessary strain on your system. Without routine maintenance, small issues can quickly become costly repairs or even complete system failures.

Scheduling annual air conditioning maintenance provides several important benefits, including:

  • Improved energy efficiency
  • Lower monthly utility bills
  • Better indoor comfort
  • Longer equipment lifespan
  • Improved indoor air quality
  • Fewer unexpected breakdowns
  • Greater system reliability during peak summer heat

Preventative maintenance is one of the smartest investments you can make in your home’s comfort.

What Happens During an AC Tune-Up?

A professional maintenance visit is much more than a quick inspection. The experienced technicians at Conejo Services perform a comprehensive evaluation designed to keep your system operating at peak performance.

Typical maintenance services include:

  • Cleaning condenser and evaporator coils
  • Checking refrigerant levels
  • Replacing or inspecting air filters
  • Testing thermostat accuracy
  • Inspecting electrical connections
  • Lubricating moving components
  • Checking airflow throughout the system
  • Inspecting drain lines and condensate systems
  • Ensuring all safety controls are functioning properly

By identifying potential problems early, many repairs can be prevented before they become major expenses.

Save Money with Preventative Maintenance

Many homeowners don’t realize that a neglected air conditioner can consume significantly more energy than a properly maintained system. Dirty coils, clogged filters, and worn components force your AC to work harder to cool your home.

Routine maintenance helps your system operate more efficiently, reducing energy consumption while helping maintain consistent temperatures throughout your home. It can also help minimize emergency service calls during Santa Clarita’s busiest cooling season.

About Carl Goldman

Carl Goldman, along with his wife, Jeri repurchased KHTS AM-1220, Santa Clarita’s hometown station on October 24, 2003. They owned it from 1990-1998, and then sold it to Clear Channel Communication in 1998, buying it back from Clear Channel in 2003. Since then, they have rebuilt KHTS as a critical voice of the Valley. In 2015 the radio station moved to its new headquarters on Main Street in Old Town Newhall, in the original Newhall Hardware building. In 2018 an FM was added, 98.1, with its signal being simulcast with AM-1220. In January 2020, Carl and Jeri cruised on the Diamond Princess. Carl was one of the first Americans to come down with Covid-19. Months earlier he was impacted by Guillain Barre Syndrome as a result of a Shingles vaccine in September 2019. He is still in recovery from the vaccine.
