Henri was awarded Nobel prize in Chemistry for his discoveries and this gem was maned after him in his honour.

How to differentiate moissanite and diamonds?

When looked with naked eye, one cannot find any difference between a moissanite and diamond. Even for trained eyes, natural diamonds just look like a moissanite. How do we test if it’s a moissanite or a diamond? A diamond tester is generally used by experts to detect the nature of the gemstone. By measuring the heat moves through the diamond tester, one can conclude if it’s a diamond or moissanite. Because of its beauty it is suitable for fine jewellery carvings.
