When it comes to negotiating or compromising in any situation, a third party facilitator like Alex Urbina might be just what you need to have both parties leave with a win.

Guest of the show Carlos Orozco, says that when it comes to negotiating he never leaves feeling like both parties got a fair shot.

“I usually end up doing something that benefits the other side more, in order to make the other person happy and feel more secure,” said Carlos. “At the end I’m left with less than equal.”

“I think for me it comes from a place of not knowing how much I’m worth, and really wanting to please the other person,” said Carlos. “Why did I do that and how can I course correct that?”

Alex said a third party person could really help both parties feel like they are getting what is best.

“There is always a win win solution for every scenario if both parties are willing to try to figure out how to get to that stage,” says Alex.

As far as one of Alex’s meetings or negotiations, he says he brings the context. He says he needs to because most people don’t bring their hearts into the negotiations.

“People bring their commitment to getting what they want,” said Alex.

“Sitting in a room with 2,3 or 5 people who are all here to discuss something, I bring in the love. I bring in the vulnerability. I bring in the distinctions that everyone can win,” said Alex. “I bring in all the great attributes that makes negotiating feel right.”
