Wilk addressed a standing room of his constituents to honor the owner of Advanced Audiology, Nola Aronson, for her practice and commitment to the community.

“Obviously Nola and her whole group are phenomenal,” Wilk said. “She’s been helping people for over 30 years.”

Since 1987 to be exact. Aronson started her business after working in the San Fernando Valley for 35 years before she moved her family to Santa Clarita in the late 80’s.

Nola has been vigil about her willingness to helping people in her community philanthropist and each month takes 10 percent of her hearing aids sales and donates them to a different nonprofit.

Arnson personally thanked Wilk for taking the time to honor small businesses such as hers.

“Thank you for doing what you do and giving this honor and presentation for me,” Arson said. “I wouldn’t be here (except) for my wonderful staff that I have.”

She made a point to introduce her staff to the audience that filled the lobby.

Also in attendance was Santa Clarita City Council members Bob Kellar and Bill Miranda, and representatives from the offices of Rep. Steve Knight’s office, California Assemblyman Dante Acosta and County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, as well as the director of VIA – The Valley Industrial Association.

Advanced Audiology is staffed with three doctors who specialize in audiology, backed up by a team of nurses and clerical workers focused on their service to patients.

Every month, Senator Scott Wilk honors businesses in the Santa Clarita Valley to show his appreciation for the service they provide for the community.

“This is our business of the month I started back when I was in the state assembly,” Wilk said.  “To salute those people that risk their capital and employ others. It’s great that you’re here and making money and employing people we really appreciate that, but it’s also about pouring back into our community cause that’s what makes it special.”
