Today on Real Estate and Other Stuff, Phil and Taylor welcome in Rich Lomas of Triguard Insurance to discuss his company and what they offer. Afterwards, it’s the latest news in real estate such as the Pocket Listings, Update, Blend Company, iBuyer Company, and more.

Phil starts off the show with Rich Lomas who owns the Triguard Insurance and how they are dealing with the hardships insurance companies are going through at the moment. He quickly explains in great detail of they handle the situations and what they can do as an insurance company, while Phil and Taylor share their perspectives and thoughts on everything as well.

Later, Phil and Taylor play their usual game of how many houses are on the market, which has been around the same compared to the last week’s.

Afterwards, they start with how pocket listings, one of the main topics of last week, Taylor’s prediction of what will happen with that came to light. The Supreme Court denies them, meaning their case will not be heard by the Supreme Court. Taylor mentions how very few cases go to the Supreme Court and how hard it is to have them hear it.

Then, Phil brings up the topic of a company called Blend has started it’s fourth round of layoffs. Blend has reported losses for every quarter since the company started back in 2012 (Phil Nordella). Phil and Taylor share their thoughts on how the company may still be surviving after all these years with all the losses reported.

Then they briefly discuss about the iBuyer Companies, what they do and how they possibly trick a homeowner looking to sell their house.
