Senior Finances — January 9, 2018

On this episode of The Senior Hour with Dr. Gene Dorio and Barbara Cochran, Mike McGrath, Certified Financial Planner, joins the show to talk about senior finances. Later in the show, Kim Wahl, alternative medicine advocate, comes in to talk about medicine alternatives that could potentially help seniors live a better life. Mike McGrath works for EP Wealth Advisors and has helped people of all ages and walks of life find financial security for themselves and their loved ones. Mike gives great tips on how to help a senior, whether it’s yourself or someone you know, maintain financial well-being late into their life without having to worry about bills or debt being passed along. If you are looking for help with the financial challenges that can also be burdensome on a senior, Mike gives personal insight that you can’t get in an over-the-phone quote/infomercial from a company representative.

Listen in as Dr. Dorio, Barbara, Mike and Kim talk about senior finances and medicine alternatives.

About EP Wealth Advisors:

“If you’ve ever wondered “Why use a financial advisor?” the people with the Dalbar Study have done the research for you. According to the Study, investors underperformed the market by more than 3% annually. What’s most interesting is that it wasn’t due to investment selection, the study reveals the number one cause of underperformance is investor behavior.

Working with an EP Wealth Advisor who knows you and understands your goals, means that they will create a financial plan which prepares you to invest in the markets, and gives the proper context for your investments so you can make prudent decisions no matter where you are in the market cycle.” Read More…
