Doctor up your campfire cooking with a delicious twist on a classic s’more – a recipe that will have you wanting s’more.
As a part of KHTS’ recipe category “Hometown Recipes,” this delicious graham cracker sandwich with chocolate and banana will leave you and your campers wanting s’more.
For this recipe, collect the following:
- Bananas ripened to your heart’s desire
- Graham crackers – honey, chocolate or get a little crazy
- Mini Hershey’s bars
- Marshmallows
Now that the ingredients have been gathered, light a fire and get to roasting.
Directions:
- Cut your banana in half. Then, half again, length-wise.
- Lay out with any other fillings (peanut butter, chocolate candies) and be ready to assemble.
- Place your mini Hershey’s bars on the bottom graham cracker.
- Get to roasting. Your marshmallow should be slightly burned, and melted to your heart’s content.
- Slide your marshmallow onto the chocolatey surface.
- Gently place your sliced bananas on top.
- Sandwich the dessert with another graham cracker, and enjoy!
