As the month of October begins, so do the spooky Halloween attractions around the city. Some are month-long and some are one-day only, but both are guaranteed to get guests into the Halloween spirit.
KHTS Radio has compiled a list of upcoming Halloween events for the month of October for all Santa Clarita residents to enjoy.
Limited Time Events
Haunted Jailhouse: This attraction converts the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station on Golden Valley Road into a haunted jailhouse. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, guests can park at the Aquatic Center and take a shuttle to the station to join in on the fun.
Halloween Haunt Spooktacular: Kids festival including a maze, costume contest, bounce houses and craft tables as well as a haunted hike through the “Trial of Terror” is what’s in store for guests who come to Castaic Lake on Oct. 21, 22, 23.
Month-Long Events
Gilchrist Farm Harvest Festival & Pumpkin Patch: Beginning on the first of October until the 31st, guests can drive to Gilchrist Farms located at 30116 Bouquet Canyon Road every weekend from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bones Gulch Haunted Attraction: Take the short drive to Castaic to be faced with a haunting attraction from the creators of “Beware the Dark Realm” every Saturday through the end of the month from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Coffinwood Cemetery: A long-running Santa Clarita yard display located on 27159 Waterford Drive provides family-friendly nights on Fridays, but full-scare nights on Saturdays. This attraction operates from Friday, Oct. 7 to Oct. 31.
Six Flags Magic Mountain Fright Fest: A classic for Santa Clarita locals, Fright Fest puts a haunted twist to thrilling rides. Operating days include Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as well as Halloween Day on Monday, Oct. 31.
