The television competition is seeking young people ages 8-13 who have a knack for baking.
“We want kids that are excited and that are talented bakers,” said Costa Nicolas, an associate casting producer for the show.
Castings for the competition are scheduled to end Friday, but six casting teams are still looking through the applications, said Nicolas.

The baking competition’s application page asks for a few pictures of the baker and some of his or hers baking creations.
The show is filmed in Los Angeles and will feature 12 young bakers for ten episodes, who will be subsequently knocked out of the competition, according to Nicolas.
Season two’s winner took home a grand prize of $25,000 according to the show’s website.
Applicants that are selected to appear on the show will have an all expenses paid trip to Los Angeles, along with one parent or legal guardian while the show is being produced, according to Nicolas.
Parents and legal guardians interested in having their child featured on the Food Network television competition can apply here.
They can also call 310-417-4874 to get the casting process started, according to Nicolas.
