Deputies are investigating a possible grand theft at the AT&T store in Stevenson Ranch Thursday, where over $1,000 worth of Apple products was stolen, officials said.
Around 1:40 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to the 24000 block of Pico Canyon Road in Stevenson Ranch for reports of a grand theft, said Sgt. Dan Peacock with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Initial reports indicate that up to three iPhones and two iPads were stolen from the location, according to Sheriff’s officials.
When anything over $950 is stolen it is considered a grand theft, Peacock said.
The suspect is described as a black male, in his early 20s, 5 feet 9 inches and wearing a jumpsuit, according to Sheriff’s officials.
As of 2:30 p.m. Thursday, the suspect was still outstanding, officials said.
