Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies detained several suspects the next day, but now his wife, who noted that Crawford, who only took the job so he could be around more to help with his 14-year-old son according to the YouCaring page, is in need of help while he recovers.

“During the robbery, King was stabbed multiple times on his back and to his upper torso, with one of the many stab wounds puncturing King’s left lung,” according to the post. “The young males also slashed King’s face, cutting his nose and his upper lip in half. King is now recovering after surgery to reconstruct his face as well as staple close the many stab wounds to his back and torso.”

Since the injuries sustained in the robbery have rendered Crawford temporarily unable to work, the YouCaring page has been created for assistance.

“King has a road of recovery in front of him, both physically and mentally,” according to the page. “We would like to thank the Santa Clarita community for all of the thoughts and prayers, and a huge thank you to (Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies) for their swift response in apprehending the persons responsible for this horrendous act, the perpetrators are currently in custody and being charged with attempted murder and robbery.”

  1. He is a very lucky man to have survived this attack, and I wish him a speedy recovery. Hopefully Circle K is stepping up to help his family as well!

  2. I hope these teenagers are punished to the full extent of the law. Raise your son’s with integrity, respect, and honor for fellow man. Their behavior is absolutely disgusting. This world is full of heathens, lacking sound moral character. They must be set straight and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. There is no excuse for harming another person. Stabbing another human being is barbaric and vile.
