Shelter staff describe Kai as a happy, affectionate dog who enjoys prancing in the yard and rolling in the grass. His prior owner reported that Kai was tolerant of children and lived peacefully alongside other dogs and cats in the household. However, based on his current playgroup evaluation, the shelter is requiring that Kai be placed as the only dog in the home.
Despite the difficult circumstances of his surrender, Kai appears resilient and eager for human companionship.
Staff believe he will thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise, engagement, and continued training.
Families looking to rescue a loving companion are encouraged to visit Kai soon.
Kai is currently at the Castaic Animal Care Center located at 31044 N. Charlie Canyon Road, Castaic, CA 91384. The shelter is open Monday -Saturday, 11 a.m.–5 p.m. (Closed Sundays and holidays)
Hurry to meet Kai and give him the second chance he deserves.
