The Westfield Valencia Town Center’s art space is proud to present “Elements and Energy” to local shoppers and art enthusiasts alike.

From now until Tuesday, Sept. 13, Santa Clarita artist Janet M. Stanton welcomes residents to observe and examine her current art installment. The art display,  titled “Elements and Energy,” was created to provoke and question the idea of movement.

“My journey in art begins with energy,” Stanton said. “Energy surrounds us and influences our lives daily. It’s something that moves all around us and through us without a visual stamp on our eyes.”

Through mixed media displays and paintings, Stanton tries to enhance the dynamics between the audience and author by encapsulating life’s energy sources and presenting them in many various interpretations.

“My hopes are that every piece you step in front of creates the same energy in you that manifested the creation you see before,” said Stanton.

The exhibit is on display at the Westfield Valencia Town Center, located at 24201 Valencia Boulevard. For more information about this exhibit and others in Santa Clarita, please contact Santa Clarita Arts and Events supervisor, Jeff Barber, at (661) 250-3779 or email him at [email protected].
