Sangria IV ‘Blood’ Bags Return To Six Flags Magic Mountain Fright Fest

IV “blood” bag sangrias are back for the Halloween season at Six Flags Magic Mountain Fright Fest, officials said.

Fright Fest features many horror-themed events, including six mazes and six scare zones, and now officials have brought back a drink to toast to all the Halloween spirits with.

The red sangrias are dressed up as IV bags with a disguised drip tube as its straw, available throughout the park where other alcohol is sold, according to park officials.

First introduced for Fright Fest in 2018, they were such a crowd favorite that Six Flags Magic Mountain has breathed life back into the creative cocktail, officials said.

The alcoholic beverage adds a twist to exploring Fright Fest, where park-goers can walk through scare zones like “A Twisted Fantasy,” “City Under Siege,” “Witches Lair,” “Terroritory Twisted,” “Demon’s Door” and “Exile Hill,” said Six Flags officials.

With ghouls and scares around every corner, guests are encouraged to savor the thrills of the season.

Terror can be found in all the mazes, include Vault 666: Unlocked, Sewer of Souls, Willoughby’s Resurrected, Red’s Revenge, Afterlife 2: Chaos Rising and Condemned: Forever Damned.

Vault 666: Unlocked has been given undead life this year, joining the lineup of mazes at Fright Fest. Six Flags officials warn guests to expect the unexpected, according to Connie Lujan, spokesperson for Six Flags Magic Mountain.

The park also has more spooky food items to add to their line up, such as Zombie Takis Nachos, spicy Sriracha-infused chicken wings, and habanero-flavored corn chips loaded with cheese, meat and sour cream. Park-goers can find these treats throughout the park during Fright Fest.

Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Halloween celebration runs from Sept.14 to Nov. 3 on select days.
