Los Angeles County has launched the COVID-19 Safety Compliance Certificate Program (CSCCP) to educate business owners on L.A. County of Department of Public Health safety directives.
This free online training course educates business owners on what the county health officer’s orders are and what actions business owners must take to be in compliance with these safety directives. This includes information on how to maintain physical distancing, mask-wearing and sanitation/cleaning. This training is highly recommended by L.A. County for all businesses and employees.
The no-cost course is available in 13 languages and can be accessed online here.
Those who complete the course will receive a COVID-19 Safety Compliance Certificate that can be displayed on storefronts. Businesses who do not participate in the course are required to display Public Health COVID-19 protocols in storefronts.
Completion of the course is an added reassurance that a business is safe and following the physical distancing and safety protocols.
Consumers are urged by L.A. County to look for certificate displays in storefront windows before entering. Citations or fines can be issued for lack of compliance with public health official’s orders and residents may report complaints of non-compliance or violations here.
