Over the weekend, the Elks Lodge hosted their annual Car & Bike Show in Canyon Country in order to show the community a taste of what they do.
On Saturday, the Elks Lodge hosted their annual Car & Bike Show, showcasing good food, cool cars, and a strong community.
“Today is the annual Car & Bike show and it’s been a big event here. We always have good food: hot dogs, tri tip sandwiches and the community comes out and the Road Kings judge the cars and it’s just a great way to let them know what we do in the community,” said Event Coordinator Glenn Daniels.
At the event the Elks had a Car & Bike Show which was judged by Road Kings , as well as live music featuring Catch 22, performing country, classic rock and the oldies.
Some of the categories won at the car show are: best car in show, Mayor’s choice, best lowrider, hottest car and more.
During the event, guests were able to enjoy tri-tip sandwiches, a bake sale featuring pastries and coffee, hot dogs and more.
Guests were also able to enjoy a boutique sale featuring various vendors, a chilli cook off and more.
“As the holidays approach, we team up with emblem club 459 and we help out the children and parents and give food and clothing to children and gift cards for the parents so they can buy whatever their child needs,” added Daniels.
The young Marines were also a major part of the event who helped to volunteer to set up booths, sell tickets and more.
The Santa Clarita Elks Lodge club has been serving members for over 50 years with over 800 members and has given the community over a million dollars over the last few years, according to officials.
