KHTS Remembers Matthew Colley: Gone Too Soon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that KHTS lost one of our own this past weekend. Matthew Colley, 28, died Saturday in his family home.

Matthew was part of the KHTS Web/Marketing Department where he excelled in web design and web development. Matthew was a bright young star and on the verge of a great career in the tech field.

Matthew had a brilliant mind that could be seen through his work on various projects. There wasn’t a tech problem that Matthew couldn’t solve or at least wouldn’t rest until a solution was found.

“Best of all, Matthew had a witty sense of humor that would spread laughter throughout the room. That partial smile he would give afterwards was something that can never be forgotten because it was perfect,” said Tom Nobili, KHTS Creative Director.

That was the type of person Matthew always was. One that wouldn’t be the loudest in a room but always offered to help.

“I saw this shy intern who would keep to himself grow into someone that would make the workplace fun with his sense of humor and banter that fit perfectly in our department and office,“ said Andrew Delgado, KHTS Director of Operations & KHTS Web Director.

During his time with KHTS, we have seen him grow with confidence and professionalism.

“Matt was an amazing young man from a beautiful family that we watched grow up into this amazing tech wizard, it’s been a pleasure knowing him,” said Jeri Seratti-Goldman, co-owner of KHTS Radio. “Whatever we assigned him over the last several years, he just excelled at.”

Matthew will be missed.
