Medical Office Facility To Replace Pinecrest, Albert Einstein Academy Building

Once demolition is complete, a medical office facility is set to be built at the former site of Pinecrest School and Albert Einstein Academy.

The demolition started Monday on the corner of Orchard Village Road and Wiley Canyon Road.

“We anticipate two more weeks,” said Intertex Project Superintendent Dennis Siebers on Friday. “We completed the first set of buildings today. Monday we will begin on the last building on the north side of the property, and then taking up asphalt and cutting down trees.”

Intertex is the current owner of the site in Newhall, as well as many other properties in Santa Clarita, according to Intertex officials.

The site had previously been home to both Albert Einstein Academy and Pinecrest School, each operating at different times.

The building that is set to go into the location will reportedly have medical offices, according to Siebers.

“It’s going to be a 40,000 square foot medical office building, not a specific office building as there are no tenants yet, likely independent doctors,” added Siebers.

Land grading is expected to start after two weeks, and the building and parking is set to be finished by January 2020, according to Siebers.

“I’m confident we are going to make an improvement on the site,” Seibers said.

  1. That’s one way to eliminate private independent education out of the valley tear down potential threats to public school.

  2. You failed to mention the second floor condos. Also it is in VALENCIA. Not Newhall. Please look at a map before writing your story. Thanks.

  3. Oh yeah! Another medical office! Why can’t this valley do something unique?
