The City of Santa Clarita is gathering information from the community through a survey on how to allocate funds received from grants toward Housing and Community Development Needs, officials said.
City officials are asking residents to participate in the annual Housing and Community Development Needs survey, and results are set to be used to help determine how to best allocate Community Development Block Grant funding, according to officials.
Each year, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development provides the City of Santa Clarita with Community Development Block Grant funding to benefit lower-income residents in the community, according to City officials.
This annual survey allows residents to weigh in on the City’s housing and services priorities, and provide feedback on how funding should be distributed to Affordable Housing, Supportive Services and Community Facilities and Infrastructure.
The survey is set to be available online in multiple languages from Oct. 9 through Nov. 4, and can be found by clicking here.
