Santa Clarita Veteran Services Collaborative officials presented a $20,000 check to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Wednesday in an effort to assist the needs of the department.

The donation was presented to Lt. Justin Diez and several deputies who are also veterans.
“They requested that we make a donation for the tasers that the department requires,” said Elliot Wolfe, co-founder of the Santa Clarita Veteran Services Collaborative. “We presented a huge check because they’re one of the local organizations we’ve been helping over the years.”
Elliot and his wife, Judy, in collaboration with other community partners, formed the Veterans Collaborative to make sure veterans knew that help was available within the Santa Clarita Valley.
“When I first started looking at the nonprofits in this area, I felt there was a lack of resources serving our veterans in Santa Clarita,” said Judy Wolfe.
The program has brought presentations and networking opportunities for veterans within the community who have served in the various branches of the armed forces, including staff at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Now we are donating to the county lol all those tickets they bragged about handing out instead of warning didn’t pay off. Well hopefully they pass it on to the ones who might need it more.
Willy, It will be ok. Don’t worry about this stuff. I wish they used the money for additional education on how to get rid of criminals without getting caught. The poor law enforcement individuals get punished for arresting the crooks. Now imagine missing rogues. WHERE DID THEY GO hum; I don’t know.
