DrinkPAK is planning to expand by the year’s end in Newhall to continue growing in Santa Clarita.

DrinkPAK is a west coast contract manufacturer of premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages located in Needham Ranch near Sierra Highway and Newhall Avenue.

“We’re thrilled to continue expanding our state-of-the-art beverage manufacturing campus within The Center at Needham Ranch.  With the addition of buildings 17 and 18, we will occupy more than 1.2 million square feet of production and warehousing facilities in Santa Clarita and the surrounding areas.

This additional footprint will allow us to accelerate growth and create hundreds of additional jobs in the Santa Clarita Valley,” said Nate Patena, Chief Executive Officer of DrinkPAK.

DrinkPAK currently has three building locations at Needham Ranch, one for production and two for warehouses, and are planning to add three more for warehouse purposes and a shipping guard shack, according to DrinkPAK officials.

Due to the expansion, DrinkPAK is currently hiring more than 80 people and expects to continue through the end of the year.

With their location at Needham Ranch here in Santa Clarita, the company has been able to hire locally, added DrinkPAK officials.

“With more than 500 employees and over 2 billion cans produced annually, DrinkPAK has become the largest canned beverage contract manufacturing facility in the western US,” Patena said.

DrinkPAK was founded in 2020, soon after the peak of the pandemic by Patena and two others.

The company produces canned beverages for client brands as well as makes alternative sodas and popular tea.

DrinkPAK also provides complete contract manufacturing services including procurement support, complex batching and processing, filling, packaging and on-site storage and distribution.
