Santa Clarita Man Pleads Not Guilty To Raping Seven Women While Posing As Rideshare Driver

A Santa Clarita man pled not guilty to allegations of raping seven women while posing as a rideshare driver in a span of 15 months, officials said.

Nicolas Morales, 44, of Santa Clarita, was charged with 27 felony counts for allegedly assaulting seven women in areas throughout Los Angeles County, including Alhambra, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and Los Angeles, according to Ricardo Santiago, spokesperson for the District Attorney’s Office.

The charges that Morales is facing include: nine counts of forcible oral copulation, six counts of rape, five counts sodomy by use of force, four counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object and one count each of assault with intent to commit a felony, attempted sodomy by use of force and attempted kidnapping to commit another crime.

The felony complaint also includes multiple victims and knife allegations, according to the D.A’s Office.

Prosecutors said Morales posed as a rideshare driver from October 2016 to January 2018.

If convicted as charged, Morales faces a maximum possible sentence of 300 years to life in state prison and lifetime sex offender registration.

The case is being investigated by the Alhambra and Los Angeles Police Departments and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputy District Attorney Presciliano Duran of the Victim Impact Program is assigned to the case.

Morales is due back in court on Nov. 13 for his pretrial.

  1. I’m glad this evil guy is off the streets. Maybe we need to consider opening the old cathouses back up for the can’t get none people out there it would probably reduce sex,crimes,stress and maybe even suicide.

  2. Will, Agreed, if we had legal brothels, the lonely creeps could go and have their fun. Could reduce violence and have STDs in check! Maybe these creeps wouldn’t prey on decent women?!!
