Just before 4:15 p.m. Thursday, deputies requested medical assistance after one person reportedly got into a fight with a deputy in front of the Walgreens near the intersection of Valley Street and Lyons Avenue, according to Deputy Kabrina Borbon with Santa Clartia Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“There was a reported assault in front of Walgreens,” said Leslie Lua with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

One person was detained in connection with the incident, according to officials on scene.

“They requested an ambulance, but no one was transported,” Lua said.

The exact cause of the altercation was unknown as of Thursday afternoon.

No deputies were reportedly injured as a result of the incident.
