Shortly after 1 p.m. Sunday, the two cars were involved in a road rage incident incident while heading south from Frasier Park. One of the parties involved then drove back to a home on Sloan Canyon. But the driver was being followed.

“One of the cars followed the other vehicle,” said Lt. Mark Slater with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. “(Two men) got out and attacked the first guy.”

At some point during the fight, one of the men pulled out a gun, but never fired it, he said.

Witnesses told a KHTS reporter on scene that the victim’s father heard the commotion outside and rushed to help, driving the two men off. The pair got back into their car and drove off.

Nobody has been arrested in relation to the incident, but investigators have “workable information,” about the two men, Slater said. At the scene, neighbors said somebody had written down the license plate number of the car the two men had pulled up in.

The extent of the victim’s injuries was not disclosed Sunday.

Anybody with information about this incident is encouraged to call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at 661-255-1121.

  1. I know it’s hard to think in a scary situation like this…But if it ever happens to you….DRIVE TO A POLICE OR FIRE STATION.

  2. Thank God his Dad could help him!

  3. I can remember when SCV was a very nice place to live.

    • Ken- The SCV still is a nice place to live. Hard to tell just what happened here from the way this article was written, but- it does say the incident occurred on the way back from Frazier Park and the victim was followed. How does this reflect badly on the SCV?
