Around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to the 24000 block of Arch Street, Newhall regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call, said Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“Deputies made contact with the victim, a male adult, who had a large laceration on his arm,” Miller said.”The victim stated his girlfriend stabbed him.”

Paramedics were called to the scene to treat the victim’s injuries, according to officials.

“We did transport one patient,” said Jeremy Stafford, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department

The condition of that patient was unknown as of Wednesday morning, according to Fire officials.

This is the second reported stabbing on Arch Street within the last three days, according to Sheriff’s officials.

Deputies arrested Marlene Garcia Ramirez, 25, on assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence charges, Miller said.

Ramirez was arrested and transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail, according to officials.

  1. Arch St. AGAIN!! The worst area of SCV!! Lots of people resistant to the American way, Traditional VALUES!!

  2. Is this the same Marlene with gang memeber relatives? If so not surprised … Tragic she always did like them hood members

  3. She’s crazy! Wow! She is the reason why we need the wall up! Deport her!

  4. Fat, non-assimilating pig!! Again, Arch street, the worst area in SCV!! Taxpayers are building that area modern, but these creatures keep degrading it like the 3rd world, corrupt countries they choose to flee from!!!

  5. This is all thanks to the liberals moving in to the area. The wall will never get built and the problems will only get worse if we don’t stand up and vote against the progressives! People move here to get away from downtown because it’s so dangerous, then they keep voting liberal and wonder why this area is going down the tubes. Wake Up people!

    • James—- Truth well Spoken!!! Their NOT “Progressive”, they’re “Regressive “. Look at once beautiful/peaceful Seattle to San Diego!! Progressive Insanity/AnarchySocialism/Communists !!

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
