Action Drug Rehab is live with KHTS every Monday and this week, Cary Quashen reminds his listeners that the war on drugs is a very prominent problem right now and drugs that are laced with Fentanyl are claiming too many lives right now and it needs to end.

This year alone, 24 Santa Clarita residents have passed away from overdosing on Fentanyl.

Kids are getting their hands on these drugs too, resulting in schools everywhere that will begin to carry Narcan to save as many lives as possible when an overdose occurs.

Action Drug Rehab has saved numerous lives over the 25 years they’ve been operating in Santa Clarita and Ventura. Action’s treatment team is composed of highly trained professionals such as psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, chemical dependency counselors, mental health counselors, case managers, social workers, administrators, and technicians.

Action Drug Rehab’s overall mission is to provide “a comprehensive, client driven, highly individualized, effective, tested, research-based, and compassionate group of addiction treatment programs with an emphasis on the foundational skills that will assist clients on every level”.

Anyone seeking treatment for themselves or a loved one must know that feeling scared, embarrassed, or guilty is all part of being a human, and Action Drug Rehab will guide you or your loved one to sobriety.

Regardless of what your addiction is to, it is super important to keep in mind that smoking a little weed or drinking a beer is “breaking the contract” at Action.

These two substances can be used as a “gateway drug” that will lead to using harder substances.

Addicts think they can just stay using weed or drinking beer but they will get bored and try stronger drugs. Cary Quashen urges listeners that Action Drug Rehab will be the #1 support system an addict has in their road to sobriety.
