Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital officials are preparing to host their fifth annual Fall Boutique to benefit patient care services.

The Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Auxiliary plans to host its fifth annual Fall Boutique with free admission and open attendance on Wednesday, Oct. 30, according to hospital officials.

Unique handmade items are expected to be available for purchase to complement fall decorating and gift-giving needs. Proceeds made from the boutique go towards benefiting patient care services, according to event organizers.

Volunteers fundraise and provide services such as tours, “Tyke Hike,” a parent preview and support to patients in many areas throughout the hospital.

Tours of the facilities help explain their areas of care and their parent previews go over the process of having a newborn. Their Tyke Hike is a class for children on how to behave and how to handle having a new sibling join their family.

The boutique is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in rooms 4-7 on the first floor of the Henry Mayo Center at 23803 McBean Parkway in Valencia, officials said.
