Continuing with tradition, the World Against Toys Causing Harm, Inc (W.A.T.C.H.) has released their 2021 review listing what they consider to be the top 10 worst toys available for shoppers to buy this holiday season.
The Toy Association, a world leader in toy safety and philanthropy, and dedicated advocates for their members, vehemently disapproves of the W.A.T.C.H. ‘Top 10 Worst Toys’ List, assuring the public that each and every toy under the Toy Association goes through over 100 tests mandated by the federal government.
“Each year, W.A.T.C.H.’s “worst toys” list comes out near the holiday season, needlessly frightening parents and caregivers with misinformation in an effort to gain media attention,” stated the Toy Association.
The main concerns of the W.A.T.C.H. ‘Top 10 Worst Toys’ List are regarding inadequate safety warnings on the toys’ and their packaging, age parameters being too young, and misleading ‘dangerous’ marketing to be featured on the package.
“The first advice The Toy Association always offers parents is to choose toys that are appropriate for their child’s age, interests, and abilities… The Toy Association reminds parents and caregivers to always purchase toys from reputable stores and online sellers, and to supervise children during play,” said the Toy Association.
