30 Reasons The Dodgers Will Win The World Series, No. 9: Front Office

There is no winning if an organization isn’t ran properly. There is only misery.

The Dodgers don’t have that problem.

Here is reason No. 9 the Dodgers will win the 2018 World Series:

Front Office

It just can’t be overstated the job that Dodgers President of Baseball Operations Andrew Friedman and General Manager Farhan Zaidi have done in building a formidable baseball club.

It seems impossible to both rebuild and contend at the same time, but that’s the product the Dodgers front office has put forth on the field.

They rebuilt the farm system in a way that makes it one of the top developmental places in the country. They’ve plucked diamonds in the rough off of other teams and had those investments pay dividends.  And they’ve signed their guys to appropriate deals that keep a contending nucleus in place for the present and immediate future.

Just think about the names that they’ve drafted and/or developed. Corey Seager. Cody Bellinger. Austin Barnes. Wave after wave is coming up from their minor league teams for reinforcements. Walker Buehler. Alex Verdugo. Julio Urias. All players that at some point will have the opportunity to contribute to a championship winning team.

The Dodgers are in safe hands, and as long as the guys in the front office are in place, they will have a chance.

That chance will turn in to gold in 2018, culminating in a World Series championship.

It’s been 30 years since the Dodgers last World Series triumph in 1988. In honor of the ’88 team and respect for the championship-caliber 2018 club, we present our “30 IN 30” Spring Training series: 30 reasons why the Dodgers can win the World Series in 2018. We’ll count down from No. 30 to No. 1 up to Opening Day against the San Francisco Giants at Dodger Stadium.
