Remington Fire In Castaic Burns Quarter Acre

The Remington Fire in Castaic broke out Saturday night, burning roughly a quarter of an acre, according to officials.

The blaze was initially reported at 10:04 p.m. at the 33000 block of Remington Road in Castaic, according to Martin Rangel of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“It was reported by a passerby,” Rangel said.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they found a quarter acre had been engulfed by the blaze, Rangel said.

Forward progress was halted roughly 20 minutes later at 10:25 p.m., according to Rangel.

No structures were reported threatened, and no injuries were reported as a result of the Remington Fire.
