A 16 year old has been identified as dying by suicide on the 5 freeway in Valencia Friday night by the L.A. County Medical Examiner-Coroner.
Donald Brown, 16, has been identified as the person struck and killed near the Valencia Boulevard overpass on the 5 Freeway Friday night at 10:30 p.m., according to the coroner’s office.
Brown was declared dead on arrival, according to California Highway Patrol officials. Brown’s cause of death was blunt force trauma.
A Sig Alert for the No.3 and 4 lanes was issued at 11:18 p.m. and was cleared at around 1 a.m., according to CHP officials.
