A Santa Clarita traffic collision involving a fire engine Tuesday resulted in minor injuries. 

Around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, a traffic collision involving a fire engine was reported on Soledad Canyon Road and Kenroy Avenue in Canyon Country, said Melanie Flores, a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. 

“We had a collision involving a Department vehicle,” Flores said. 

Minor injuries to a civilian were reported, but it is unclear if any transports to the hospital were made, according to Fire officials.
