At least one person was hospitalized following a crash on the 5 Freeway Wednesday afternoon in Castaic.

Around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, first responders received reports of a crash involving a motorcycle on the southbound 5 Freeway south of Hasley Canyon Road in Castaic, according to officials.

 A ford 250 towing a boat and a motorcycle collided, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) logs.

At least one person was transported to the hospital in unknown condition, said Kaitlyn Aldana, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Southbound traffic on the 5 Freeway was impacted while crews attended to the injured patient and cleared the wreckage from the roadway.
