Two crashes in Newhall complicated traffic on the 5 and 14 Freeways Thursday morning.
The No. 1 and 2 lanes were blocked for approximately one hour, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP) officials.
A second crash was reported around 7:50 a.m. on the northbound 14 Freeway north of the 5 Freeway.
A vehicle overturned and took out a light pole, and injuring at least three occupants.
As a result of both crashes, traffic was impacted on the 5 and 14 Freeways.
